The former principal of a Brooklyn yeshiva has been convicted of sexually abusing three boys over a 10 year period.

The Brooklyn district attorney's office says a jury on Monday found 33-year-old Emanuel Yegutkin guilty on multiple sex charges. He faces up to 25 years in prison on the top charge alone at his Dec. 17 sentencing.

Prosecutors say Yegutkin abused the young brothers after he became friends with the victims' family and frequently visited their home. They say the sex abuse began when two of the boys were just 7 years old. The boys did not attend Yegutkin's school.

Yegutkin was arrested in 2009.
